Key notes:

The WWF Nedbank Green Trust considers projects up to ~R 3 million over 3 years. Their “Apply for Funding” page indicates they receive applications multiple times a year: “Applications will be received 3 times a year.”

What they fund:

Grants worldwide (including Africa) via their Environment Programme: “Marine & food systems and livelihoods”, “Nature & People”, “Regenerative landscapes”.

OAK Foundation grant-making is ongoing; they are accepting applications under their Environment Grant Programme.

What they fund:

Grants and programmes supporting youth & sustainable livelihoods, green value chains, community development.

Also past calls: “Positive Biodiversity Outcomes Grant” sought projects US$50k-250k

Although the exact current call may not be open publicly, Anglo American Foundation does support project funding and has clear thematic relevance for environmental restoration.
